               Leadership is not a title.  Leadership is a behavior and a way of life.  I have been through leadership training in the United States navy in the nuclear power program.  I led, trained and mentored junior sailors through all aspects of life.  I guided them to become future leaders of our military and our country.

               After leaving the Navy, I continued this mindset in learning new skills and industries.  I have had the opportunity to teach customers, technicians and leaders in all aspects of the job and life through both formal and informal channels.  I have worked in and with small companies and worldwide powerhouses in their industry picking up new skills, perspectives, and evaluating what brings them success and what challenges they face. 

               Aside from my Naval training, I also completed my Bachelor’s of Science in Nuclear Engineering Technology; Masters Degree in Business and Leaderhips; and an undergraduate certificate in Writing.  These are from Excelsior College in New York and the University of Iowa in Iowa City, IA.  I am commited to continual learning, achieving my goals, and helping others to do the same.
